These high protein chocolate chip muffins make a great breakfast option for busy mornings, a great after school snack for sports on the go, or a yummy treat! They are loaded with real food ingredients and have extra protein to help you reach your protein goals.
½Cup Chocolate Chipsdark, adjust amount to your preference
2-3scoopsprotein powder, unflavoredoptional
Instructions
Gather everything you need and preheat your oven to 350℉.
Add all of the wet ingredients to your blender or food processor, then add in all of your dry ingredients, except the chocolate chips. Blend until just smooth. Once blended, stir in your chocolate chips. Divide into 12 muffin liners and bake for about 18 minutes or until the tops are slightly golden brown.
Notes
If you aren't sure if the muffins are fully baked: They should be firm but not hard or too browned on the tops. These muffins will puff up in the oven and when you take them out, they will fall a little bit and the tops will crinkle. Give them a little while to cool before eating. Enjoy!
