feel better tea in a mug

When you're sick or just feeling off, this tea feels like a warm hug in a mug. It’s the kind of simple comfort that makes you feel a little more human, even on your worst days.

    Ingredients

It’s packed with cozy, feel-good flavors that make every sip a treat. Plus, it’s loaded with natural ingredients that give your immune system a little extra love when you need it most.

    feel better tea ingredients
    • spearmint tea
    • peach tea
    • lemon
    • cloves
    • cinnamon stick
    • honey
    • Optional: Nettle leaf tea, or red raspberry leaf tea

    See recipe card for quantities.

    Instructions

Step 1: Gather everything you need. Get your water hot. For a single serving, use 8-12 ounces. You can boil it on the stove, in the microwave, or use an electric tea kettle if you have one.

Step 2: Add your spearmint tea bag, peach tea bag, whole cloves, and cinnamon stick in . Let them steep for a few minutes. Then, add in your lemon juice ( freshly squeezed.)

Step 3: Stir in some honey to your liking. Enjoy!

Hint: You can use hot tap water if that is all you have, but I prefer to throw mine in the microwave or use my electric tea kettle.

    Substitutions

    Make it your own.

    • Fresh Lemon - instead of fresh lemon, you can use a lemonade packet (They have added sugar) or pure lemon packet.
    • Cinnamon Stick - You can use cinnamon powder if you don't have a cinnamon stick, but I find that it doesn't mix in very well.
    • Whole Cloves- take them out before drinking. They take a long time to soften. The taste isn't great but they do help with immunity.

    Equipment

    Tea kettles are very handy!

    Storage

Best fresh, but you could reheat if you made extra.
