matcha latte in a mason jar with a straw

Matcha lattes are a lovely treat for slow weekend mornings, cozy afternoons, or a self-care moment during a busy day. They are simple, sweet, and satisfying.

    Ingredients

matcha latte mixed in a mason jar over ice
    • Almond Milk, unsweetened
    • Matcha Powder
    • Pure Maple Syrup

    See recipe card for quantities.

    Instructions

Step 1: Grab 2 cups. I like to use the 32 ounce mason jars for my cups. You'll fill one half way with ice. Pour your milk in the other cup.

Step 2: Add in your matcha and whisk or use a milk frother, which is what I prefer, because it's so easy.

Step 3: Add in your maple syrup and then mix again. Pour over the ice in the other cup. Enjoy!

Hint: I like to blend and pour over a glass of ice in another cup. You don't have to, but I have found that it is less messy.

    Substitutions

    • Almond Milk- instead of almond milk you can use any type of milk you like. I prefer unsweetened plain almond milk.
    • Maple Syrup - You can use honey if you prefer the taste of that

Make it your own. Experiment with a few things and have fun!

    Equipment

    • I like to use a milk frother, like this.
