Although there is a time and place for most things, in our home, we really try to stick with low stimulating shows for our kids. Once in awhile, they definitely watch the newer and more stimulating shows because most of the new stuff is just that. If it's early morning or later in the evening we really try to stick to watching lower stimulating shows. I find that my own kids have less mood changes and behavior issues from watching these types of shows compared to the high stimulating shows. They are also less annoying! I used to love cartoon network as a kid but now when I listen to the show, I find that they do and say some things that I don't want my children repeating. Oh, how times have changed!
