    Apple Nachos

    Apple nachos are a delicious and simple treat, perfect for snacking or a healthy dessert alternative.     This makes a great warm and cozy winter treat and also an easy summer snack.

    Ingredients

    This recipe is simple and easily customizable. You just need some apples and your favorite toppings!

    Ingredients for apple nachos.
    • Apples
    • Peanut Butter
    • Chocolate
    • Pecans
    • Coconut Oil

    Instructions

    Wash, Core, and Peel your apples.

    Cut into thin slices and layer.

    Apple slices topped with peanut butter and chocolate.

    Melt your chocolate with oil and Peanut butter, then add your toppings.

    Apple nachos.  Apples sliced with peanut butter, chocolate, and pecans on top. Baked in an oven.

    Layer and bake at 400°F for about 5 minutes or so.

    Hint: You can use any apples you like. We love Fuji apples in my house.

    Substitutions

    • Peanut Butter - instead of peanut butter, you can use any nut butter of your choice.
    • Chocolate- You can replace the chocolate with caramel for your sweetener

    Equipment

    You'll need a cutting board, peeler, knife, apple corer (optional), some microwave safe dipping bowls for melting the peanut butter and chocolate and an oven safe shallow dish for layering your apple nachos.

    Storage

    Best fresh!

    Equipment

    • 2 dipping bowls microwave safe
    • Oven safe baking dish

    Ingredients
      

    • 3 Apples
    • ⅛ Cup Chocolate Dark
    • 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil
    • ⅛ Cup Peanut Butter
    • ¼ Cup Pecans Chopped small

    Instructions
     

    • Start by washing, coring, peeling, and slicing your apples.
    • Layer the apples in a baking dish.
    • Melt your chocolate with coconut oil and melt your peanut butter. Drizzle over the apples.
    • Add your pecans to the top and bake at 400 degrees for about 5 minutes.
