High Protein Easy Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip

This post may contain affiliate links.

This high protein buffalo chicken wing dip is a great spin off of traditional buffalo wing dip. It has extra protein and healthier ingredients, but it tastes very similar. This is just as delicious as the traditional buffalo chicken dip, and you can feel good about eating it. Once I started eating cottage cheese, I found that I can add it to so many things for the extra protein.

This is normally a snack in our household, but my husband will eat this in wraps for lunch in a pinch. We eat it on tortillas or celery. At one point, we had this on hand all the time because it was our go to snack.

It would make a great game day appetizer if you're a sports fanatic, too. With the Super Bowl coming right up, this is a simple and delicious treat to throw together. It's sure to be a crowd pleaser. They probably won't even know it's a healthier, higher protein version.

One thing that I use on almost a daily basis is this mix and chop. You can find one here. I found this cute little baking dish at the Dollar General with monsteras all over it. I love it! The dollar general actually has some really cute kitchen and home stuff now.

    Ingredients:

    • 24 Oz chicken breast. You can use canned if you'd like. I have made it both ways.
    • 1 brick cream cheese- cubed up small
    • 1 heaping Cup cottage cheese
    • ½ heaping Cup plain greek yogurt
    • 1 ¾ Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    • ½ to ¾ Cup Franks Red Hot- Depending how spicy you like it
    • 2 tablespoon Ranch seasoning- (Not liquid dressing)
    • ⅛ teaspoon celery seeds

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F
    2. Combine all of your ingredients in a baking dish and mash them up. I start with chicken and then add in everything else.
    3. Once it is mixed well- pop it in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
    4. Mix it up about half way through cooking so that the cream cheese is spread out evenly.

    Notes

I stir it about half way through once the cream cheese is starting to melt. It doesn't take long to heat through but if you prefer the top to be bubbly and browning on the edges, it will take a bit longer.
